During my recent weekend at Relais Cimillà B&B, I was entranced by the beauty of this restored ancient fortified manor. Set against the serene backdrop of the countryside, the property boasts a stunning pool with a delightful view, providing an ideal spot for sun-soaked relaxation. Each morning began with a lovely breakfast served in the charming courtyard, featuring a different home-made cake by Cettina-truly a treat for the palate! Our host, Salvo, greeted us warmly, and his genuine hospitality made our stay exceptional; he was always on hand with tips for exploring the nearby Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista and Museo Archeologico Regionale Ibleo. The spacious rooms were immaculate and filled with character, with lovely views of the courtyard that made waking up a pleasure. The convenience of the nearby bus stop allowed us to venture out to Marina di Ragusa's beaches, making it a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. I can wholeheartedly recommend Relais Cimillà to travelers looking for an authentic taste of Sicilian hospitality amidst rich historical surroundings.
